Hello everybody!

I would like to have a complete list of alll the books and publications offered by Märklin about its digital systems.
As far as I know, these are the ones I know:

0303 - "Model Railroading digitally controlled", 1990 ? (0306 in German)
0308 - "Einstieg in Märklin Digital - die Mehrzugsteuerung", 1994 (I think there is an english verision, but I am not sure)
xxxx - "Marklin Magazin. Sonderausgabe digital-special", 1997
03081 - "Einstieg in Märklin Digital - Die Mehrzugsteuerung", 2014 (I think there are two or more different editions)
03082 - "Running Trains digitally with the Central Station 3", 2017 (03092 in English)
03083 - "Digital steuern mit der Central Station 3", 2020

I wonder if between the years 1997 and 2014, Märklin did not publish any book about its digital system. Mainly because in 2004 appeared the new "Märklin System". The old Motorola protocol was ended and the new "mfx" appeared with the Central Station series.

If someone knows anything about this or have any information (there were really two editions or more of the 03081?), I would be vere gratefully!

Greetings,

Francisco

Yes there is a version in English and it is also referenced with 0308. I have it and bought it at the time in the American Insider Club.

I don't know what happened to the American Insider Club, I mean if it still exists. At the time they had (around 1996 or a bit later) they were selling some interesting things
like that book and also some posters in a great printing with the images of the Märkjlin catalogues of the early 50ies.

Regards,
Miguel

I believe the correct reference is 0308E.

I have been using this book since 1995 (published in English in 1994). Mine is simply labelled "0308" on the spine.
It is quite basic but I found it wonderful when I was first setting up my current layout in 1995 and I was new to digital.

I still find it useful to refer back to at times, given I continue to control my trains via a 6021 system.

I just pulled out my 0303
IMG_20200525_172039.jpg

It was printed in September 1988 and the intro is dated September 1988 by Georg Fuhs.

I have had it since 1989.

Me too. I bought it when I jumped into digital when it was first introduced. ThumpUp

Now if I can just figure out where I last saw that sucker - I know that I still have it here somewhere. BigGrin

I have almost all Märklin and mostly HO, although I do have a small number of Z gauge trains!
So many trains and so little time.
