Hi,

I have converted a Märklin Blauer Pfeil with an ESU Sounddecoder. ESU does not offer a suitable sound file for this loc on their download page.

Märklin/Trix offer a Roter Pfeil with sound:

Does the sound originate from a true recording or is it a fantasy/standard sound?
If it is the real sound, I might go through the effort of capturing the Märklin sounds and insert them in an ESU project.

Alternatively: Does anybody know where to find an ESU sound project for the Roter Pfeil?

Best regards,
Gregor

Märklin usually only offers a standard sound. I watched the video and couldn't hear anything special, but in fairness one has to say that a prototype Red Arrow didn't really make any unusual noise.

Hello Gregor, I did this conversion a few years ago. I have the sound file saved but it depends on what ESU decoder you have. I used this:(Rotor Pfeil (3125) V3.0.esu). Happy to send it to you via email but for the life of me I cannot remember what sound file I used to create it. Too far back

Well, the Lokprogrammer software can load old sound files into later decoders, but they may not meet expectations, so do treat it with some caution, unless you can identify what sounds you used and pick these out of later projects.
