Hello all, I have an ESU decoder on my programmer. This was a dealer installed replacement decoder.

I was going to map the functions as close to the Marklin factory functions as possible.

My problem is that all of the text for the function mapping is in German.

So my question is - Is there a setting for this decoder to show text in English?

Thanks

Rick

Are you saying on your lokprogrammer or on the CS2/3 programming track?

If on the lokprogrammer, there is no translation it is just text - so you need to use google translate and replace the text with the English.

If referring to the CS2 programming track, the language displayed is what the CS2 is set to - is it set to english?
Regardless I've found that even though my CS2 is set to english, many of the settings/config only display German - Marklin did not do a complete translation of all the different screens in the CS2.

Hi,

On the ESU Home page, several manuals in English are made available. See these links fordecodersandthe Lokprogrammer.

Maybe you will find there what you need.

Best regards,
Gregor

Thanks guys, I realized after I posted this that it is basically user input texts.

I do think that this is a European decoder as the dealer that installed it is an importer directly from the factory.

I just though t it was strange that there was German text in a dealer installed decoder in the US.

Thanks again

Rick
