Hi.

On a local website I found this type of loco for sale. Its Artitec SS752 converted to Marklin, digitized with a a sound.
Its quite expensive because a seller asks for over £250 for it. In your opinion is it worth that much?
Thanks

Artitec is a high end Dutch manufacturer, and their products are not cheap. But if you want a Dutch steam loco, they are about the only way to go.

That explain the price. Considering this price looks competitive but it's not my cup of tea (Era).
I'm watching a few auction websites and as soon as I see Marklin it attracts my attention.
Thanks for explanation guys.

I have some Artitec pieces and for the quality, I’ll pay the price. I have some Leopard 2 tanks that I wanted to add to my other Märklin tanks, you can tell the difference between them for sure in the details. I’ll be adding more Artitec in time for sure, and my dealer here in the US is a factory supplier for them (even better)

The 3700 Series was indeed used for express trains and the Rheingold from Hoek of Holland and before WW2 departing from Vlissingen
One engine (3737) is preserved in the Dutch Railway museum although not in running condition anymore.

Enough to be found on the web about this type of engine
