I know I can be clumsy but even unboxing this set I broke 4-5 pieces.
The couplers and related parts seem to be unavailable. And I really
would prefer not abandoning the Adler

Any ideas???

Hi
There are more than one type of current-conducting stabs.
Here is one 7319, seems to be the standard version, available both at Märklin and on ebay.de(https://www.ebay.de/itm/Marklin-...b7adc:g:KM4AAMXQltxQ6nFX)

Here is another one E272140 you may find it by Märklin and on ebay.de (https://www.ebay.de/sch/i.html?_...nkw=E272140&_sacat=0 These were made for the Rheingold train set and are to bring closer the cars.

My advice is to buy the 7319 kit (10 coupling bars)

Sorry but I found later this was not correct. See below
Cheers
Jean

I just realized that this train set has no NEM coupler pocket
So my info is wrong
Here is a picture of an Adler train with what I believe are the coupling bar (bottom right of picture)

You may have to replicate those parts either creating a 3D file for a 3D printer or make a replica using brass or copper
Cheers
