Got a very interesting new SK800 in my collection!
It’s black handcoloured - both loco and tender. Definitely old lacquer inner and outer side as well as wheels and UV-light prooved too.
With golden stripes!
From the inside you can see that a green loco was the base.
I only knew of handpainted black tenders (over green) that were used in early postwar production together with burnished loco housings but those have silver stripes!
The regular prewar black SK wasn’t built on a green SK and has regular silver stripes.
From the pick up shoes - they are pure brass - no nickel on it, it should be a very early postwar production.
Custom made on special request? - not unusual that time.

It's an nice find. Looking closely I think it has been repainted. You can see quite a few cracks and repairs which have been filled with the new paint. Plus the gold stripping is pretty rough with brush strokes evident. The smoke deflector looks like it has reattached. Still an early version and originally a late green version. I suspect that it was repainted with the handrails intact as to remove them without breaking the steps below the cab is very difficult.
