This morning I wanted to get out on my train.
But my CS 2 60215 remains blocked on the start page
She does the loading then nothing
did you have an idea

Hi There are a few forum members here having this problem. What you may try: - try multiple times to get your CS2 started (it may take a long while) - when it does start, have the CS2 connected to internet so that an online update can be made. In a number of cases this allows Märklin to clean-up the files. If the problem persists you need to check with Märklin if they can repair it (reprogram the mother board). Definitively they don't repair it anymore. Below is my 60215 motherboard.  Cheers Jean |

I doubt very much that reset.tgz cleans / reprogram files
In fact it aims at replacing user's files with Märklin ones.
The program loaded by Märklin during an update is much more than that. A huge number of files, some programs, some image files, some configuration files.
So a clean-up by Auntie M (Die Märklin Tante) is way better I think.

Hello. Another try is to (fresh) install the last update from Märklin directly via USB. Maybe some files is corrupted in your installation. Format an USB stick, copy the cs2update.img from the link below to the root folder, insert the stick into the powered off CS2, and then power it on. The update should start in aprox 15min, and are expected some reboots. Marklin Updates(its needed to click the checkbox to see the files) Cheers, Walter
