Hi,
I only have 1 B-Model engine, the G2000 in HectorRail painting. It runs good, looks good and sounds good. At least one opinion 😎

I have the same locomotive painted in the colors of the Swiss track building and maintenance company Scheuchzer. I like it so much that I have just ordered a second unit.

I recently ordered a single B-Models container car to evaluate it as I was considering buying a few for a container consist. The model is pretty nice, but did not live up to my expectations. The container fixations are not as universal as I was hoping and may not lend themselves to other manufacturer's containers. I have also noted that the buffer height does not correspond to some other manufacturers.
I have decided that the Maerklin cars are the best, followed by the Rocky Rail Twin and Piko T-3000. This determination was guided by the quality of the model, interchangeability of loads and compatibility of the cars. For the Maerklin cars, I can use containers with sockets (20 ft) or 40 or 45 ft using Herpa's 084192 adapters as is or modified.
The models are likely made by the same manufacturers who make LSM and ACME. I do not know whether B-Models has cooperated with other manufacturers on current models. I do understand that there might be cooperation between B-models and Kombimodell on some models in planning.
Regards

C track - but I guess I could give it a test on my K track layout if this is important for your decision.

B-models do some very nice Electric multiple units am54. The trouble is there very expensive even by Märklin prices. So buying one to find it derails would not be good😕 |

I am very sorry, but something went wrong:
My K track layout is old, analogue only and powered by ancient HAG transformers (similar to the blue ones from Marklin). These might provide "too many volts" (or whatever the technical lingo is), because the B-Models (digital only?) loco just blinked with her lights for a few seconds and refused to move more than an inch. I don't want to risk damaging the decoder and am too stupid to change the CV's, so somebody else will have to conduct the test.

The old Hag transformers could pretty easily put a modern digital locomotive into programming mode or blow a decoder, especially if an inversion pulse is activated. I suppose that it could still be used if the direction of operation is not changed and the throttle is maintained under 60%
