All,

I'm having constant coupler interference problems with my BR 120, no. 37539. After several head car derailments, I asked the driver if he had been drinking or noticed anything amiss in the cab. After insisting "no" on both counts, I had him drive slowly though the turns and it turns out that the 1320's bumper is running up against the top of the trailing car's coupler, eventually disengaging it, pushing up on it, and lifting it into the air. It happens with 90 percent of my cars and only on a pull The can operator and i are out of ideas for how to solve this problem. Can you possibly help?

Was not drinking before this happened, so it's not his fault
