Hello, I'm new to the forum. I have a couple of early Marklin boats that are missing parts (masts, smoke funnels and one without a clockwork motor). Would appreciate any information of anyone that has restoration parts.
Thanks!

There are specialist Maerklin restorers in Germany.
Sometimes they sell parts.

It may be helpful if you showed some photos, even some information about the age of the items and where/when you got them.
On that basis some forum members may have some useful ideas or suggestions.

Thanks for the replay. I will post some photos of the boats this weekend. I've been told another person by the name of Wolfgang Berendt in Germany also has has replacement parts for early German toys. Is he still in business? Does he have an email address?

Thanks again for the help.

As Kimball said, post some images.

If you don't know the Marklin catalogue numbers for them some of us may be able to identify them from old catalogues which could help you narrow down your search. There are a few German enthusiasts active here so you will possibly get some helpful contacts in the next day or two.

Look forward to seeing them
