I am building but new to this so attempting would be a better description this track from the Marlin Brochure track plans
I plan in the long term to go down the DCC route but want to initially setup for DC
Where would you advise me to but in the breaks

By breaks maybe you mean isolators? Plastic joiners. Marklin 8954.

Inner area ... Between 8568 and 8569

Outer area (front left) between 8568 & 8521 or 8569 and 8521.
