Joined: 18/12/2019(UTC) Posts: 2 Location: Catalunya, Barcelona		I’ve some 74490 motors that arrived to me without their cables. I’m exploring different ways to get them. After some Googling I discovered that the Märklin reference for the wiring harness, as they call it, is E521760. The recommended Märklin retail Price is 6.00€. This item can be found in eBay, from different providers. The added problem is the shipping cost, usually in the same order of magnitude as the item itself. Next is the DIY solution. I visited an electronic components shop but they were not able to identify the connector. Could anybody give some advice on this subject? Anybody has interest in sale this connectors? Thanks Xavier

Joined: 15/11/2018(UTC) Posts: 398 Location: Uusimaa, Helsinki		I ordered this set of cables from China, at the total cost of 1 euro with free shipping: The set was called "10PCS Mini Micro ZH 1.5mm 3 pin Jacks JST Connector with FO" which may or may not help you. The connectors look like being the same that Märklin uses. My idea was to use the connectors for the very purpose you mention, as I shared your dislike of having to pay 6 euros for a trivial item. Unfortunately, they are still traveling at snail's speed from China so I have not yet any experience to report on.

Joined: 17/09/2006(UTC) Posts: 18,665 Location: New Zealand		I got 50 of these off Aliexpress the same as Martti has got, to replace some 74490's I have that have no cables. Pleased to say they work fine, just be aware that the colour codes are different. Line these up with a Marklin cable and transpose the colours across - I think yellow is the same on both.
