What would cause all S88's to turn yellow?Confused Nothing on track. Trains work fine. Just all S88s yellow on my CS2. Working fine then suddenly all little dots yellow. Can't trigger a S88 when running a car over the track. I tried another S88, same thing.

Hello,

mmh, all yellow means all contacts are grounded ?!?, or at least equals to the reference potential.

A few ideas:
-Have you unplugged the ribbon cable recently ? If yes, check if the ribbon cable is correctly inserted in the 6-pin plug; not shifted one pin, nor reversed
-have you changed something in the ground plugs recently ?
-Breakage of the S88 plug in the CS ?
-Check the ground cable going to the 1st S88 is correct.

... Other members may provide better ideas.
Cheers
Fabrice

Febrice, Thanks. Great ideas! Just figured it out. A bad ribbon cable. New one put everything right! Oh these simple problems that plague us.
