Although it is not the only Bockerl railway. http://www.bockerl.de/ At the German Wickipedia you find an own article about "Bockerl". https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bockerl A short translation from the first paragraph explaining the word Bockerl. "The term Bockerl or Bockerlbahn (also Bockl, Bockela, Bockerla, Boggala or Bockelbahn) is used in Bavaria to describe railway trains on secondary lines, which in the past were mostly pulled by a steam locomotive. As a rule, a local name suffix was added. The name was synonymous with both the vehicle material used and the line itself."
