So I searched all over the web and this forum and could not find a definitive ID on the connector plug type they use.

After some measuring and comparing I took a chance and luckily was right.

So for the record, the connector plugs are JST XH 2.5mm 2 pin connectors.

WS sells 48” extension cables for about $3.50/cable. The cables have male connectors on each end. Off of eBay I was able to get 50 male connectors (with 6” wires connected) and 50 female plugs (no wires) for $7.00 shipped. So for about $0.15 and a 3’ length of wire ( price negligible ) I can now make my own. You can save some big money. Well, not that $3.35 is big money, but you know what I mean.
