I am attempting to assemble a Marklin HO Christmas train that pulls Christmas musical cars that play music. As an alternative to the expensive Marklin Christmas Steam Locomotive 37838, I am searching for Marklin musical cars to pull behind one of my Marklin locomotives. So far I have identified the Marklin 48403 wind up Christmas musical car, and the Marklin 48401 battery operated Christmas musical car that plays music as it vibrates along the track. Are there other such cars out there?

mj, I think that the 2 you mentioned 48401 and 48403 are the only ones that actually play music. I looked here: https://www.modellbahn.com/forsale.christmas.html And of all those listed there are only the 2 musical ones. The rest being scenes or freight loads... I may have missed a source that has a more complete listing, but I have been happy with Modellbahn. Best of luck, and Frohe Weihnachten!!  Jimmy |
