As I have received Very useful help here before, I dare again. It may seem like a rather dumb question, since Trix has the same loco/model in DC. However, I already own the 37307, and for sentimental reasons, it would be fun to bring this model to the club layout, which is DC.

I have converted a Märklin Vectron already, and that job was neat and easy.

The 37307 seems like its been constructed by the same principle, centered motor, DC type. Are the wheels insulated? Is it just a matter of resoldering pickup wires, possibly having to change decoder?
