Hello,
the child in the man of 80 loves to play again. Pardon - I was corrected once - a model railroader does not play, he makes railroad driving!
On eBay I bought the Märklin Set R 880-19-2 months ago, which I got for Christmas in 1944 and "disposed off" in 1966, because I collected Märklin 00 / H0 for space reasons. With this R 880 now I forgot my collection 00 / H0 and searched only track 0.
What I have collected (better bought) and built, you can see in a video (duration 4.5 minutes) on YouTube.
The video shows initially 23 frames and then driving at night - in Leipzig it is 0300 clock

Have fun watching

What a wonderful layout Wolf. I am extremely jealous that you have built this entire layout in only a couple of months. My layout is a couple of years old and not as nice as yours. It is amazing what one can do with "know how", dedication and time (and $). Congratulations on the fine work.
