I saw on the Marklin website that it is possible to update sounds in the mSD.

I wonder whether anybody has done this ?
Do we have instructions on how this can be done ?
Which version of software is required on the CS2 ?

Technical Tip:

Hi John,

I have updated sounds on various mSD3 decoders using the programmer 60971.
Using a CS2 is probably very similar.

A decent manual does not seem to exist. The most useful instruction I found on Youtube:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zxXktbc49A

It is only available in German however.

Best regards,
Gregor

Hi John and Gregor
I have programmed and downloaded sounds on msd2 and msd3 using a cs2 (60215)
It works ok but is time consuming (take 20 to 45 minutes to program and more to prepare the sound project but it is fun.
There is an excellent tutorial on the Stummi forum
Cheers
