The Marklin part E516520 costs $1.60 down here. There is mention on another thread of the capacity being 3.9 uH The only one I can find locally is 3.3 uH ( https://www.altronics.com.au/p/l7016a-3.3uh-rf-inductor-choke/ ) with these specifications: Rated Resistance: 0.34 ohm DC Current Max: 670mA Length: 11.0mm Diameter: 4.0mm Lead Diameter: 0.65mm Lead Length: 25.0mm Tolerance: ±10% Temperature Rise: 20°C Temperature Range: -20°C to +100°C Dielectric Withstanding Voltage: 250V RMS Is the difference between 3.3uH and 3.9uH significant? Is the 670mA current limit enough for a DCM motor? |

Thanks for the information Damon. Subject to comments from the others, I think I might order these on the weekend at $0.50 each for 10+. Altronics is down the road from me and they seem to have good stock.. |
