I think this may have been addressed before, so my apologies in advance. I own a 37803 V200 from the late 1990s. When operating in digital with an MS2, it's about as smooth as can be. But when running in conventional/analog, slow speed starts are impossible, as it seems to jerk/hop/lurch forward until it gets up to cruising speed. I'm thinking about swapping the decoder anyway, but before I go down that path, does anyone have any other recommendations or thoughts?

Simple! Operate it in Digital mode! BigGrin

Seriously though, some of the earlier decoder versions were not so good at analogue operation. This could be the issue here.

Thanks Ray, that's what I was thinking. Of all my early Delta and Digital loks, this is the only one to have this issue. Might be time for an upgrade :)
