Again, I'm a novice and apologize for the lack of basic knowlege...
I am adding additional turnout switches and am using, as a source of power, wires from one of the tracks. My original control box works fine but notice the additional ones the lights do not work.
Should I buy an additional transformer as a power source to the additional control boxes??
TommyOK….let me try again……..
I am trying to run wiring to this:

OK....docx (489kb) downloaded 29 time(s).

Hi
Welcome to the forum
Not sure about the box you are using but Marklin’s track boxes are for 32 watt so connecting a more powerful supply would not help.
Cheers

The brown and red wires go from the transformer or digital controller to the track. The wire for the lights should be connected to the constant voltage (yellow) terminal at the rear of the transformer.

If you are using a MS or CS with a power pack instead of traditional transformer, there is a different procedure for powering the lights.

This might help: http://www.marklincafe.c...MarklinWiringBooklet.pdf
