A few years ago I purchased the 66623 wheel cleaning brush for my z scale locomotives. It has been working really well but I haven’t found any instructions on how to remove the dirt that has been accumulating over the years

Do you have any suggestions?

Hello Erik!

I have the same 'cleaning device' from Märklin.

Mine don't have too much dirt (yet) but I would use some kind of metal brush like this one:

Metal Brush

Here they sell it on those 'chinese stuff stores'...

Cheers,

Walter

Hi Erik,

Brake-cleaner does the job. I suggest to use it outdoors.
