Hello,

The job of the week was an Atlas HO Wooden Water Tower.

You will find a complete and detailed report here :

http://www.pierregillard...ojets/150-703/index.html

I had a lot of fun with this kit which is by the way very cheap (it costs me less than CDN$ 15.00 or Euros 10.00).

Here are some pictures :

Impressive...
A very fine work. Do you have a spare one for a humble carpet layout?

If I had one, it would be a pleasure for me to offer it to you !

Anyway, it looks more difficult to complete that it is in the reality ... just try and you will agree with me.

Thanks for your comment as well as to Steven.

Very nice detailing. Did you add the diagonal braze marks on the metal rings? Enamel?

This model was assembled right out of the box without any modification. Only the chain was added. So, it seems that it is the best price-quality ratio available for a HO wooden water tower.

Detail were painted in different tones, by using both wash and dry-brush techniques. Both enamels and acrylic were used.
