Hi everyone. I am new to German railways and just buying my first Marklin set. It is my first attempt and I know nothing about German railways at all. I would like to put a level crossing in. Can you please advise me as to which type of crossing would have been common in the III era?

Thanks in advance.

Hi David,

Try this link:

https://www.google.de/se...=1#imgrc=qH6LwEacWvo-2M:

It should show a number of railroad-crossings in Germany in the 1950s and 1960s.
The picture which pop up shows a very typical situation. But level-crossings between trams and main-railroads have been rare.

Regards

Markus
