Since I purchased the CS3 plus I have noticed there are 4 backup files installed.

Can people explain their purpose?

For example why is the keyboard a backup file?

What is meant by LEER?

What does the startconfig file indicate?

Keyboard.DDC.Zip

Keyboard.MM2.Zip

LEER.Zip

STARTCONFIG.Zip

Leer is “empty”. Load it to start with an empty CS3 (no trackplans or anything)
Startconfig is the configuration loaded when first starting the CS3 (basic example trackplan and so on)

I never considered the keyboard files, you could try to load them and see what happens. Remember to save your current settings first.
