Hi,

This thread brought me to the idea to draw a Thomas for an existing Märklin-Chassis.

The 3104 locomotive was sold during the 1980s. In used condition It is available very cheap at Ebay. The chassis is not modified in any way. So the locomotive can be easily set back in its original condition.
The chassis of the Märklin - ALPHA- Series is nearly the same. But it has no front coupler and the cylinders are cut off. This works but is not the best solution.

The shell is printed in four parts. I suggest painting the parts before gluing them together.
