Hello everyone,

I was wondering (and didn t find any) if us shunters excist? If they excist, which models are there and which brands are making them?
Any help is appreciated.

Hey Carim,

Thanks for the reply. That looks like a very nice loco, but my skills don't really include building a loco like that (interesting topic still). I suppose there aren't any pre build shunters available?

Hi Kristof,

I don't really know as I don't model US trains in Z. I think AZL do a GP7 road/switcher if that's any use. You could always PM one of the guys on the link I gave before and ask them to build one for you. Otherwise have you tried Shapeways?

Hey Carim,

I m not home into it either, I m planning on starting a usa thema, next to my z German theme, but I don t know a lot about it yet. My search result didn t return much shunters, especially in z. I didn t knew the gp7 was a shunter, that would be a solution then for me. I could pm them indeed, but only if there aren t any suitable locos made by manufacturars (if the gp7 is one, than that enough for me). I m going to look on the shapeways site, never visited that one before.
