Very Nice, the blue coach and baggage car are the rarest. If you have a Koll's catalogue it is the most definitive for year of production. Late '40's most likely. My Dad brought back the red and green cars from his military stay in '46 and I still have them. The wheels have deteriorated on some, but they are replaceable if you want to run them. Enjoy!

These coaches are shown here in the 1936 catalogue, and last appeared in 1950 so they had quite a good run, interrupted only a little by the war.

Hi Bob,

Please note that all the bogies (except fot the car in the middle) have been replaced in the 1950s. The originals were deteriorated by the "Zinc-Pest". It was usual to replace them with the more modern type, spares for the original type were not available.

Regards

Markus

Markus: I really appreciate your very informative reply to my post. I would see that the bogies looked newer, but didn't have a clue why. You provided the answer. It is great to have a forum to get answers to questions from newbies or the clueless. Bob
