Does somebody know the iTrain software? Or even has experience with iTrain already?
Could not find it under the marklin-users.net section "Links & downloads".

Find more about the software at this link:

ITrain - berros

Hello Wolf. Cool

Here the links showed up by clicking on the Downloads section:

Downloads

All versions are there, Mac, Windows, etc., on the grey right side of the page.

No experience on my side with it.

Cheers,

Walter

Hi TEEWolfCool

Happy coincidence Cool

I use Itrain

jpaulfr56, my friend from Morbihan, Bretagne, is a great specialist of Itrain

I am configuring at present Itrain for the temporary layout

If I can help you, do not hesitate....But Jean Paul is 100 times better than me

There is a forum in German on Itrain :

http://berros.eu/itrain/forum/ucp.php?mode=login

Have a nice day

Hello Walter,

thanks, but I guess there was a misunderstanding. I thougth about the listing of a download link here at the marklin-users.net community.

If you go

Home - site content -

you see a pulldown menu heading on top:

"Links & downloads"

behind this heading "Links & downloads" you find a section "Model railroad computer software (17)" with 17 links to various MRR softwares. There I do not see a link to iTrain software. Perhaps somebody may add a link to this iTrain software there, because I do not know how to do it.

Best regards

Wolfgang

Thank you very much - your infos are very helpful. Although it looks like that you may be the only one at marklin-users.net using iTrain. Did you already program your new layout or is it still to early for it? What is your experience with iTrain so far?

Well, I have to start reading the fourm about iTrain tonight.

Best regards

As I wrote we are 2 on this forum using Itrain : jpaulfr56 and me...maybe 3 with you. I also know that a member of marklin-users on Facebook uses Itrain

As I wrote, at present I arrived at this with Itrain:

Trace Laurentides Heidelberg.PNG

All the rest of the work must be made : accessories, cantons, contacts, locos, bend speeds, routes, etc. etc...

I am far from the arrival.

My experience with Itrain ? I have to discover everything even if I have the software since 2012....But I know that it is a fantastic software for its price, very democratic

Previously I had the standard version 3, I passed to the standard version 4

Have a nice day

Hello Wolfgang!

My fault then. Crying

I'd never realized that this place/list exists! Thanks for the tip!

Well, also there isn't no link to RocRail for controlling (that I play), and Scarm for layout design.

Cheers,

Walter

Any one have a video of a a layout running on iTrain.
I would love to see a demo example running with explanations of what is going on.
I got flustered with all the software I tested back in 2011, I never could tell if it was because I was running demos or if I just screwed up. I hate to spend any money on something if it is not going to work like I think it should. So I gave up and just ran the layout with the eCos.

Back in 2011 I downloaded the demo of iTrain, drew up the layout, connect to my eCos and could operate some trans and switches, but never got an automatic operation from block to block.
I just downloaded the newest version and after deleting some outdated data in the xml file I got it to open up the track plan that I made in 2011. Again it got some control but no automatic.

At one time I almost had RocRail running the way I wanted it to run , but after an up date now all the ini files and xml files are all messed up and it looks like the only way to fix it is to delete everything and start over.

The only one I ever got to work was a Program called LocComander built by a guy on this forum but he stop development due to his work.

There is always a way to join on the forum English, to explain what you want before buying the software and Xander and the members will be pleased to inform you. They will advise to you to use the version of essay, to ask your questions with the TCO in zip. They will explain you from A to Z how to make, will correct your errors and will doubtless tell you, maybe, where to find wanted videos
