I recently set up a second CS2 a a slave using a 60123 cable. With the initial set up the entire loco list from my master CS2 transferred to the slave. I shut down both using the quit function on the set up screen. The next time I started up the loco list on the slave disappeared and I can't get it transferred.

Has anyone set up a CS2 as a slave and have any ideas of what I am doing wrong?

Thanks
Adrian

Hi,

did you configure the slave as slave in the setup menu, and checked the relevant synchronisation options?

Hi,

when I started using two CS2's as Master/Slave I powered them up at the same time until I found out that the synchronization between them failed and this resulted in missing data in the Slave. After I started powering the Master up first and when it was up, then I powered up the Slave. This works much better.

Now I have also got a CS3+ (60216). So today I first power up the CS3+ which is the master, then the first CS2 Slave and at last the second CS2 Slave.

I have tried to power up both the CS2 Slaves at the same time, but this is not good.

Best regards
Per
