A disappointing day thought my local shop would fix a burned out decoder on an old P8 and fix the broken wiring on a Fleishmann 2-8-0 ...but the chap bailed at 3 rail. So I am in a fix not now knowing of any UK based digital repair business..so any help or advice much appreciated. If need be I will need to look at European options.
Whwtver happned to Modelllbqhn in Towcester , he was excellent.

Joachim Messerschmidt of Towcester Modellbahn has moved and as far as I can tell retired. My last two email have not been answered and I understand some of his stuff was auctioned off at a recent auction.

I am not aware of anyone doing such repairs formally in UK, although someone in the Marklin Club UK may be able to help

Hello Ralph,

Depending on the exact problems, I can probably help.

I live in Cheshire, so if you bring or send the locos to me I will have a look at them for you. Let me know!

This is now the address for Modellbahn, late of Towcester:

Modellbahn
Joachim Messerschmidt
19 Townshend Road
Dereham Norfolk
NR19 2YD

Best regards,

Nigel
