I can buy in the Lenz shop (if I happen to be there) or in the Märklin Museum Shop (if I happen to be there) and pay the full RRP.
Or I can order from a local brick and mortar shop - and usually pay less than RRP.
Or buy from a web shop.

Company shops at full RRP ain't no competition as far as my money is concerned.
Regards
Tom

They where just saying that they offer there products now at there facility if somebody wants to buy something while they are visiting. They are offering there products only at suggested retail price so that they don't compete with retail stores who usually give a discount.

Märklin/Trix do have shop too but the prices are same as the shop store do have.
Discount depends if shop store do decides to sell out old models to give better place for the new train models.
We call it empty store.

The problem with reading/writing things via Google Translate or other translation engines to/from other languages - the meaning is lost/misinterpreted.

Lenz is saying they will not undercut their retailers (will not be in competition to them) via their selling product direct at the Lenz factory store. There you can, for cash only, buy products at the manufacturers suggested retail price.
