Hello,
Märklin released a new variant of the well known Klima snowplug BA 845 in a DB Ep. IV print version.

I like this very nice and detailed model:



But, a bit disappointing related to the price of 80€, there are no working headlights, no rear lights, no interior light and the work beam light can switched on/off only with a mechanical switch on the lower side of the snow plug. What a shame!



Therefore, I planed to make the following modifications:

- head light with LED
- rear lights with LED
- Interior light
- work beam light
- all functions digital switchable

And while the used function decoder Tams FD-R Extended has four buiold in sounds, the snowplug will get a speaker, too!

Snowplug disassembled:







I created a small perfboard, where I will place the LED tresistors:



2 x 2.2kOhm und 2 x 5.6kOhm



New holes to place the DUO-LEDs for headlights:





The upper headlight is glued directly on the light guide
