I am looking to get several smoke units for building on the layout. Does anyone have any experience with either the Vollmer or Seuthe units designed for buildings? Another more expensive unit is sold by Micro-Mark which may be an AristoCraft unit but I am not sure. I have no experience with any building smoke units and I am looking for one that will run at least 25-30 minutes when filled up.

Thanks in advance

I have a seuthe chimney smoke generator. It works fine. I don't know the number.

The Vollmer units work quite well and are easy to install.

Seute no.7: It gives too much smoke (I think) at nominal power. It will NOT run for 20-25 minutes for sure at nominal power. More like 5-10 minutes max. I run it over a 7812 voltage regulator and that it's maybe less smoke than what I would like (It was simple to take the regulator I had in my drawer...). It runs for 10-15 minutes at 12VDC.
