Hello,
I spotted this layout on the internet a few days back and I was attracted by the location of the town and other bits. It appears to have come from a Marklin Z scale track plan book, but this drawing was all I was able to find of it. I'm mostly just curious, so something with similar qualities would be good as well if anyone has access to them.

Thanks for your help,
Matthew

That's a nice plan!

It seems to be a double track main line with a junction leading to a terminus station. There is also what looks like a reversing loop under the mountain, accessed via the tunnel mouths at the right hand side, to allow trains travelling in either direction to enter the station without reversing.

I think I'll "file" this plan away for future consideration.

Small C track layout, control by MS2, 100+ trains but run 4-5 at a time.

Hello Matthew,

This plan is from the Marklin Z Gleisanlahen-Buch book (0296). I have the 2nd edition which I think was published in Nov 2009. It is a hard back book with 94 pages. It is multi lingual, with German, English, French and Dutch (I think). Not only does it have many track plans but also images and descriptions on Track, wiring accessories and signals, and catenary operation.

I quick check on the WWW found a couple of sources of PDF for this. I don't know how legitimate they are.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Wal
