Well, i'm in vacations to enjoy the hollydays at my mother's home in Concepcion. During the journey a had a time in Puerto Montt, here there are a few old engines and cars by the sea (not very clever but....) The locos are in very bad shape since some fools have used them for painting graffitis[:(]
But i saw this old crane.......does the shape looks familiar to you?:

yes, it is, perhaps not the same, but a close relative of the classic marklin crane...

there is also a kind of coach built with old sleepers and rails wich is an exposition room:

Looks like an interesting attraction. Was it an old freight depot?

No, it is a new building made as a freight coach (dimensions, shape) but with old materials taken from the railways.

Ok, don't worry, it is now a park near the sea, it was the area of the old railway station wich does not exist anymore, they were no trains to this city for the last 15 years, a couple of weeks ago the service was reinstalled but the station is now in the upper area of the city, so they will be never again a train running by the sea in Puerto Montt.....sad

That is too bad, I'm sure it would have a very scenic ride.

Near the sea, without protection, in a few years all rusty. A pity. Nice pics, anyway.

Band on the run
