Dear all. I have two Piko locos, they are both nice models of SNCF diesels and they both have DCC decoders. But, being Piko, they are both very light compaired with a Marklin SNCB diesel shunter. Which gives good traction and takes three times the the time to get dirty wheels before cleaning. Is it possible to use DCC stay alive decoders to keep them running over dirt, were the Marklin loco continues to run? And are you aloud to use such decoders with the MMS?

Hi there,

I don't know about DCC decoders but I am intrigued by the first photo you posted.

The details in the scene are stunning and would to see more photos from your layoutThumpUp

Thankyou for your kind remarks👍😀. Here's a bit of video from my layout and thread. There's also more on the layout, on my YouTube? Account. Cheers Dan
