nice catalogues. never thought I'd say this but not much for me though. The new Italian Boxcars from Roco maybe, and thats about it.

If marklin doesn't do much I want either, I may pick up some more Roco freight cars though. There is some nice stuff, just nothing earth shattering to me.

Does anyone have experience with the Roco "idee+spiel" (Eurotrain) models in terms of quality and build?
I'm really looking hard at the Roco 52580 street tram (as its the look that drove around the streets of Mannheim, Germany in the 80's ) as it fits my era layout build.
Running a DC street tram in a city would add a new aspect, but I've got no idea of the build quality and materials of this sort of Rocco/Eurotrain model.

And if someone already knows - given its a pure DC tram with a NEM652 8pin connector....
and given I'd just run it back and forth on its own separate track circuit....
Is it best to just run a DC supply to its track (and how to interface with a computer program), or add a DCC controller (asy the Roco Art. Nr.: 10890) for easier integration to something like TrainController ?
