Hi, found this website, although its written in German, you can click on any Märklin loco catalogue number and it will give you a comprehensive list of spare parts.

I can click on the English translation for most of these. Its not complete though. Some engines are missing [ 37645,3756, 33185,34121 ], and doesn't cover train sets that I can see [26730,29815 ] . It is interesting to look at though. Also has pictorial instructions for converting to digital. some identification is by the cross head type, which I will have to find out about. It was interesting to see that the first 03 that came out had the wrong capacities on the tender 10m3 for water and 34 tonne for coal instead of 34 m3 for water and 10 tonne for coal. Mine is one of the 2 is the later ones with a different cross head. . Attempted to find the answers on google but got nowhere??????Flapper Flapper

I wonder if the information given on that site could be added to to form a historical record and identification system for all Markilin locos and rolling stock.
