Marklin O gauge flyer catalogue date 04/1954 and there is a error running number on BR05 '05 007'.

The BR05 001, 002, 003 was build before WW2 but 007 was never build.

Hi Steven, actually I also noticed this and refer to it in my article few years ago about 1950's H0 starter sets and the mysterious NZ wooden boxes with labels that use that same image....

https://www.marklin-user...gbmc/woodbox/woodbox.htm

Specifically I asked;

PS; And while we are on the subject of the labels, HERE'S A PUZZLE FOR THE OBSERVANT; I made a very interesting observation within the image (below) while studying them. A small detail that has stumped everyone so far (including myself) - it's obvious, but not so obvious...

Great minds think alike aye? BigGrin

Hi Steven,

I think these pictures should not be taken to serious. The title of the D47 shows a "07 018", which looks like more like a 03.10 or 01.10.

The picture above was used on all post-war 0-gauge catalogues from 1949. A coloured version was also used for the backside of the manual 0171 for the construction-kits from 1949 to ~1953.

The scanned example was little bit poor.

Regards

Markus
