Hi! Cool

This passed week I got help to ballast most of my lines. I´ve been struggling back and forth and not gotten more than 0,5 meter over several weeks. Then I found that my friend Magnus had such a nice and quick method, which ended up with a really realistic look. I kind of left the thought of making the ballasting into an art and just Went for the Quick and easy way (whichis the only thing that seems to work for me) LOL LOL LOL But hey! It´s looks okay.. At least I Think so..

I just had to make a video helping me to remember the routine for next time. Maybe it can also be of help to others, like it did for me.

Thanks for the video.
Somewhat similar to my own method, except that I dont glue the track onto the trackbed; I spread the ballast out over the tracks, and "wet" it with an alcohol SPRAY, and then drop the glue down with the pipette/eye-dropper. As long as the ballast is well wetted, the glue will spread well, and the previous step of putting glue between track and trackbed can be saved.

The alcohol is better than water, becasue it spreads more finely and quickly, because it doesnt have the "surface-strength" that water has. <hick>
