Dear All,
Where could i find information about products which were produced before 2000?
in todays' case: Märklin 4138 (swiss oldtimer carriage from Gottard, 3rd class)

Alain Here's a start... Lok MuseumCatalogues are always a good first place to start... http://www.3rotaie.it/Go to archives, Marklin Catalogues - you now need to register but it's worthwhile, you can get lots of info here Regards Steve |

Mostly Marklin.Selection of different eras and European railways
Small C track layout, control by MS2, 100+ trains but run 4-5 at a time.

Another place to access information is Kolls catalogues. It will tell you year(s) of production and point out any variations between production runs.
Against Kolls is that it is only in German, and only available as a printed book.
