An overhaul of the company's operations and logistical issues with its suppliers are cited as the primary cause...

Yes a great reason why you should not buy Chinese made model.

Some manufacturer cannot deliver spare parts today so how will be in 10 years to get any?

This was one of my last purchases:

freight trains defect; the suport doesn't stand the wheels, at least in 4 wagons (of eight)... Angry

German production?! I don't think so...

Keep going, Marklin, you are on the right way...

I have a beautiful NMJ Flamsbana loco that is dead because they can no longer provide parts. Plastic gears! I don't know where it was made, but under the body it does look Chinese quality..

another thing that intrigues me:

If M supervises all the production (wherever they are made) like it was told on this forum before,

Why do they don't mind some dealers selling these defect articles?

... Maybe for guys like me to buy them...

Ah, that's Ok!...

Hi, what a shame. Did you get replacements ok? Which set was it from. Looks like a bad mould batch. I've not seen this before. And a lot of my wagons have these bogie types.

Hello!

I still have not replaced these damaged pieces, maybe soon i'll send a letter to M (and maybe your words give me the will...).

They are all from 29841 digital starter set (gondola wagons) and i agree with you,

they are probabily from a bad mould batch (from where, we'll never know...).

It is realy a shame, these are very nice freight wagons.

Let's wait for better days... Huh
