Last July on Page 36 of the Marklin Magazine they published a website
www.Maerklin-magazin.de that offered a new service where you could call up complete track plans for C and K track and download them as PDF files.

At that time I did download one. Today I have tried to log on and I get a message that the site could not be found! I cannot even get on to the Home site in Goeppingen www.marklin.de/

Does anyone know what is happening. Is their server down or are they closing down their web site?

I'd appreciate any comments.[:(]

DIck,
for the last 2 weeks I have had a problem getting into the M Site of a Saturday. Maybe it was down for maintenance.

Hi all,

Yesterday I received an e-mail from Märklin containing information on news they are about to publish on their site.

-There wil be a video presentation of the new CS.
-Soon they will have a feedback function in order to obtain information from new users of the CS
-There will be a "how to retrofit your loco with a decoder" topic, on their site.
-For Insiders there will be a downloadable manual of the new 60760 decoder.

Many nice items if you ask me.

It might very well be that their site is visited by too many visitors.
I hope it won't be overloaded for the next days or even weeks.

Best regards
Guus
Kind regards,

Hi all,

Another annoucement about the CS has been made: the first series will only have a german/english language software version and manual. For most of us, this isn't a problem, however, for people who would like to see a complete CS with the dutch and french language included another unknown period of waiting has come...

I wonder whether this will also be mentioned on the website.

nevw: It loads ok for me. May be your browser. I am using Firefox 1.7.5. I have had similar problems as you report with earlier versions of Netscape.
