As of today, only 4 - the 43929 Express Train set - to go with my also new E10.3 (39120). 6, or 7, if you count the VT08.5 Insider set.

Hello All!
I have 60 Maerklin passenger cars plus
4 Lima Orient Express coaches which I bought in
the early 1970's for a total of 64.
My collection was started in 1964 when I was 11.
Over the years I have sold about 10 cars. I wish
I hadn't now though.
Enjoy

6 more as of today Smile

42990/91 Rheingold and Helvetica sets arrived - they look just splendid behind the 39573 E 03 (which arrived last week) Cool

Curiously both the loco and the cars had taken the trip from germany to denmark twice, as have two other recent ebay buys... it added up to 6 weeks delivery time before they finally arrived at my work!

Turns out that roughly half of the german ebay sellers I've delt with use shipping companies that only delivers to your home address at hours where you normally have to be at work [:0]

When they find nobody home they return the parcel to the sender rather than doing like the postal service that allows me to pick up my package if I'm not home at the time of delivery [V]

This time in the right thread [:I]

I'll say - would be nice if Marklin would do another run of the dome car in TEE livery and the matching restaurant car (with double deck kitchen area). Ebay prices on these have gone crazy.

My only worry would be how they'll look next to the older Marklin stock - 1:93.5 is longer isn't it? I can't afford a complete set, lovely though they are.

On the plus side, we're likely to see a good number of older TEE coaches popping up on the 2nd hand market as people upgrade - still looking for 4295/4296...

Thanks Steven - yes, I have CM, and have seen the advert - ordered 4224, 4247, 4259, 3772 and 3774 from him before Christmas and was very happy with the speed of service. Might well order the other coaches from him when I can afford to.
