Nup... Not a single thing matches.. I should also mention that the image is not representative of the state of my set - hence the reason for my shift to Marklin..

The count is now up to 36 locos. Summer vacations in Denmark was... "Productive" ;-)

Among the two new ones where my very first Märklin digital with 5 pole high efficiency motor. (Very nice Re 4/4" from the mega-starter set 2004)

Oh, the other one was an older V160. Very nice also ;-)

(Count of passenger coaches also went up... hehe)

I own 20 loks and two railbuses. One electric lok, the rest steam and Diesel. The count was around 35 in 2002 (2 in 1998 when I joined the hobby after a looong break). I had bought too many loks pointing in all directions. I sold about 20 of them. Now I only buy Era 3 and some early Era 4. I don't think I'll buy many more loks since I find happiness in the ones I already own. I have a lok that matches each of the different consists of cars I have.

I have a few loks and cars on my list I would like to have sooner or later:
-The V80
-The era 3 glaskasten (Because it looks sooooo good)
-The new Schienenbus [:p]
-A set of Langenschwalbacher Waggons [:p]
-A Moha milkwagon

Best regards MartinB

Yes it does. Anticipation is a large part of the fun of obtaining a collection. Luckily, Marklin releases so many good loks from year to year, that we have anticipation all the time!biggrin

6 Ep. I, 2 Ep. II, 35 Ep. III, and 11 Ep. IV/V

Just made a new count... Now I have 25 H0 locos (just bought myself a 3425 Kittel), 1 Gauge 1 Loco (55003) and 2 Z gauge locos. (two Messemodelle, as souvenirs from the Nürnberger Messe)

To come this year: 37141, 26535... biggrin

By the way: I don't agree with Spoetnik, I still love having all the locos I own now. But there's one truth: I always envy another (extra) model. That's no strange behavior for a collector right? [:P]
Luckily, I don't have a FD (yet).

Intersting question. I had to make a statistics for my locomotives on my PC before beeing able to reply. If I made it correct:
39 steam engines
22 diesel engines
27 electric locomotives
Of these (totally 88) only two are analog due to their age. I will keep them in the original condition. 87 of these are Märklin.
In addition I have 17 function models and cars with a decoder.
My biggest problem: I have no layout yet, but in a few years...

Don't you remember Steven ?? He sold all his Märklin stuff last year or so and changed to 2 rail DC....

Now he has to start all over again !!!! His increase rate will be tremendously high, from zero to say five locos within the next month or so .....

An update:

As i bought a 00380 a couple of weeks ago:

<s>39</s> 41 steam engines
22 diesel engines
27 electric locomotives

Total 90 locomotives, 88 of these are digital, only two "non-Märklin"

Hi Everyone !

I have a total of 18 functioning loks in my posession:

17 H0, 1 Z.
16 Märklin, 2 Roco.
14 Digital, 2 Delta, 2 Analog.
5 Steam, 6 Diesel, 7 Electrics.
2 era I, 7 era III, 2 era IV, 7 era V.
10 owned by me, 4 owned by my wife, 2 belongs to my son, and 2 are owned by all of us together.

Additionally I have 4 analog loks from my childhood/youth (60's) who do not function. Two of these will eventually be repaired, converted to digital end returned to active duty.

Regards
