This is the E41 I bought recently.
It is an early 3034, with the manual reversing lever as well as the relay.

Thanks John. I guess I should try and find a red Era V one now! I've been looking at a couple of Primex examples on ebay which are not too expensive. I'll have to look at my list of priorities again!

Very nice loco. I have one just like it and it's a beauty.
Pity I can't see all of it in one go because your picture is too big.

Hi Steven
Yes you can set the operation with Delta or Digital.
Have not looked inside the Loco but instructions show
a 4 number sequence to select.I take it this means that
I cannot run the Loco until I get a Mobile Station?

Ian
4004/4005 are the old tinplate versions of the coaches I have.
4040 is a very basic toy coach which I think is based on the "thunderboxes".
There are also other more recent models of these compartment coaches made by marklin, such as the 4200, 4201, 4202.

And it's quite a nice runner, having seen Alex's Wurt C on our club layout.
But it would be good Alex to keep picture sizes to 1024 at the max.

Hello, all of you Märklin friends.
I did support Märklin for over 45 years and have in the moment 53 digital locomotives and still 11 analogue locs.

I have a digital trackplan, but can't use it on my vista computer so I made a scan of it and put it on my website. You can see it now in the website. (Now it is ready and you will find it under "Over ons"). Me and my son are still working on the website and will put more information on it. Thanks for your reaction.

Thanks Steamer01. Did a quick scan and saw an amazing amount of track. Is it a right to conclusion to say you have different independent loops?
With kind regards

Yes that is right. I have 5 levels (loops) with tracks. Level 3 and 4 are connected. The others are separate. By the lay-out of some years ago, all levels were connected, but now I would do it in another way. When there are visitors and something goes wrong, the other levels can function further. I can remove parts of the cities to reach the whole lay-out / landscape.
regards,
Steamer01.

Hello,
Today my E50(39500) arrived.
And soon I put a relay to turn off rear marker lights.
