Hi Guys,

I have in my collection a beautiful Big Boy loco.

Sadly one of the running boards on the right hand side has had a piece of it break away, which i suspect was broken before I purchased it. I now sit with a predicament where I'd like to fix\repair\replace it but it seems Marklin no longer produce the spare part. Also the part that is broken off is missing, so I can'y just simply glue it back on.

The part I am after is 216842.

If anyone could give me any advice on how to remedy or source a part to resolve my situation, I would be extremely grateful.

I have contacted a 3D scanning and printing business which could perhaps print me a new part, but it may turn into an expensive exercise.
