couldn't resist making this thread just for being silly biggrin biggrin

anyone want to take a hornby steam passenger train set and few various freight wagons plus a variety collection of older usa trains just for me to have some marklin tracks and several more particular wagons (few passenger and some freights)??? [}:)]

seem like a fair way to me...clear out some excessive 'misc' trains to get more needy parts to get started on my wish layout heheheheh

steven...I'll see about taking the pictures if I can at night or the so....this one hornby set doesn't seem to be in hornby's train set product list anymore for some reason.

might try take a 'lot' picture with the hornby and usa trains ratherly just to save on having to put up seperate multiply poses :-p ... unless anyone have any immedately complains

well here are three quick pictures, the other items I'll need some time to consider over for about if I'll like to still keep or not so there anyway

my wished worth values are in cdn prices and shipping is extra by the way

seem to be R2024 as the store label on outside box says and anyhow its supposed to be a BR Great Western Castle 4-6-0 with 3-axle tender and the three cars are crimson/cream color. asking $190 reduced since it ran a bit twice

http://img343.imageshack...mg343/357/photo2a7to.jpg
dunno if I am liking to it having a face on one end so thought I'll see if it could go for $12 to anyone interested at all?

lima tram (product no 208040) .. ran well only once but I didn't quite like it especially it seem to be quite quickly overshadowed even by the usa 2-axle diesel shunter [B)]
oh and yeah mind the receipt slip hehe.. thats 219FF but I'm willing to value it at $40 perhaps? its got lightning I'm sure

I know that the steam passenger set seem interesting but I've already now got a german 4-6-0 and have several other OO/usa trains too so if I can figure a fair trade I'll be happy to let it go.

after seeing this thread https://www.marklin-user...ault.aspx?g=posts&t=3099 I started thinking about it and realized that it might be an interesting unusual train running challenge on my upcoming layout and so...

I'm willing to make fair trade for a string of proper older generation coaches together with one having a control cab end.

would like if it was a full consist set.

as for a matching steam engine...well....I thought I'll use my DB38 but then again if anyone want to give me an engine that match this particular consist then that'll work too

sorry if I talk a lot but...well...hope you people don't mind me Smile

The R2023 Hornby castle set was made in 1997-1998 and quite little hard to find in United Kingdom.
